Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS) is one of the premiere seminaries in Asia. Situated one mile high in the Cordierra Mountains on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, it is in a beautiful location for study and reflection. It also provides the opportunity for involvement in local churches and missions outreach to mountain tribes. Being the regional seminary for the Asia Pacific region of the Assemblies of God, its students come from many countries in Asia, the Pacific Islands, Africa, South America, and North America. In the current trimester, the students are from 22 countries.
Galen and Dickie have lived and taught there since 2001. They open their home up to the students for food, fellowship, and fun! During the time they have been there, they have seen their students graduate and do great things for the Kingdom of God in their home countries.
During part of the year Galen and Dickie travel and teach in schools throughout the Asia Pacific region and beyond. To date they have taught and ministered in Fiji, Singapore, Mongolia, Myanmar (Burma), Russia, Malaysia, Samoa, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, Nepal, the Czech Republic, Papua New Guinea, Angola, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
Their goal is not just to impart information, but to see lives transformed by the Word of God and equipped to teach and preach that Word in nations around the world.
